Laura and Pat’s wedding was the kind of celebration that made everyone feel like they were worlds away, without ever leaving Southern California. Set at the stunning Monserate Winery in Fallbrook, this day was filled with soft romantic details, lush vineyard views, and the relaxed elegance of a destination-style wedding, all thoughtfully designed to reflect this incredible couple.

Their love story began during COVID, and from our very first conversation, we knew we wanted to design something that honored both their roots of Laura’s SoCal beachy soul and Pat’s Florida, southern warmth. Monserate Winery gave us the perfect backdrop: rolling hills, serene water features, and Tuscan-style architecture that set the tone for their timeless garden wedding.

We curated a soft, nature-inspired palette of dusty blue, ivory, taupe, and tan, pulling color inspiration from the surrounding landscape and the venue’s architecture. Ceremony florals included a “growing meadow” arch that looked like it had sprouted straight from the earth, perfectly framing the couple as they exchanged vows beside a tranquil waterfall with the vineyard stretching behind them.

Dinner was served under the stars, with a mix of long and round tables draped in soft dusty blue and ivory linens. To add depth and texture, we alternated ivory napkins on dusty blue linens and vice versa. Every place setting featured a beautifully printed menu and a sandstone place card, details that subtly echoed the venue’s natural textures and architecture. Bistro lights twinkled overhead, creating a warm, communal glow as guests laughed and toasted beneath the evening sky.

Later in the evening, guests enjoyed a charming gelato cart and a classic tiered cake before heading into Monserate’s barrel room for dancing. Chandeliers lit the space with a cozy golden glow, making it the perfect setting to end the night on a joyful, high-energy note.

It was such a privilege to plan and design this day alongside Laura and Pat. From the beginning, they knew they wanted their wedding to feel like a getaway, and through intentional design, heartfelt moments, and a dreamy setting, that’s exactly what we created.
