Why You DON'T Need a Day-of Coordinator

You’re looking for a Day-Of Coordinator because you are a control freak, you love a good party, and all the wedding blogs insist that’s what you need. But we are here to tell you, that doesn’t exist. There’s no such thing.

I know. It goes against everything you’ve read. Now what do you do? We’re here to help.

The truth is, nobody is going to show up at your event and work just one day. Anyone who does can’t possibly have all the information, so it’s a set-up for failure. There are too many moving parts to an event to not have all the knowledge beforehand. Working on your event for just one day isn't enough!

And frankly, you deserve more.

Most Planners will provide a “Day-Of” package that actually begins 30 days, or maybe even 60, before your event. We have something better.

We used to offer “Day-Of” Coordination (we called it “Coordination” and started at 60 days), and it never really worked the way we wanted it to. We Planners are typically very helpful people by nature. We want to help you be guests at your own event. We want you to have a relaxing day that you’ll actually remember, without being preoccupied by wondering if, for example, you are getting the maximum value from your photo booth hours because you made their start time too early.

We are now offering Wedding Management to our couples. What we love about our Wedding Management Package is that you have unlimited access to us by email from the moment you book with us, including all communications with your vendor team. This allows us to answer any questions you have throughout the planning process and gives us a chance to advise you on, say, how to go about renting a stage - or at least making sure you have enough space - when you hire a band to rock your celebration. Guidance, advice, and answers to any questions you have are provided in real time when you need it most, not just four weeks before your wedding day when most "Day-Of" packages start.
